Hi there- I'm new to the dieting thing. I'm the heaviest I've ever been- 11st and 5'5''. This sounds super heavy but I'm only just a size 12, mostly a 10. I swear I'm made of lead! Recently I've just been feeling really 'chubby' so decided to do something. I have started having bran flakes with a banana for brekkie, big ham salad for lunch and a fairly normal dinner but trying to not eat anything overtly unhealthy. My main issue is my business- I break in young racehorses so I get A LOT of exercise. I start at 6 in the morning and am still going by 9pm. I can ride anything up to 16 horses a day and everything else that entails. I've looked into the Joe Wicks thing but I will be totally honest and the idea of anymore exercise makes me want to cry I've lost 10lbs in two weeks but I'm really struggling now. Nothing else wants to come off. I'm really not keen on any Herbalife/isagenix type shake programs as I like actual real food and love cooking! Does anyone have any tips, I'm feeling really lost and confused!!! Thank you so much in advance. I should probably mention that since I've actually started eating more I've lost weight? I usually only ate a huge dinner and wine so I think my metabolism is pretty slow. That's what I've been working on- trying to kick start it.

Congratulations on your initial loss, 10 lb in 2 weeks is very quick, most sustainable levels of loss are much slower and you can often have stalls in your progress. With your work you may not have much spare time but it would be a good idea to take a look on one of the many calorie tracking sites and work out how many calories you are consuming on a typical day. Working with horses can be very demanding physically, so there is a good chance you have a high level of muscle mass which means the most common measure of obesity BMI or simply the numbers on the scales are not the best way to track progress. Taking tape measurements along with finding out your bodyfat % is a better option.

Thank you- I thought I might start doing that this week. My weight is staying static now but I looked at a photo of myself from a month ago and couldn't believe how chubby I looked. I've definitely slimmed down. I am very strong and have always weighed heavy without actually being fat and when I put my stats in a BMi calculator I'm always classed as borderline obese thank you for your input. Will definitely put it into practice!

It's great that your consistent in pursuing your ideal body. I believe that drinking a lot of water during the day(up to 3 l) can really help your body to detoxicate and improve the functioning of your organisim. Have you tired drinking green tea?
