Hi I'm Eric, uhhhh not really sure of how to go about this so bare with me haha. I'm 24 years old, 5ft 11 and 240lbs as of this year. I had recently got out of a relationship of 3 years and honestly my self confidence is pretty much shot. I'm here to find some motivation as well as give it along with maybe getting some dieting and exercise tips? But yeah hope to here from you all soon.

Eric

Welcome aboard. Sorry to hear, but plenty fish in the sea as they say. Be confident in who you are, period. That would be my first advice. So what are your goals, what will your diet look like, exercise routine?

absolutely, don't despair, plenty of fish in the sea. I would not focuss to much on finding a new partner, instead focuss yourself on something else (carreer, sports) and your partner will appear unexpectedly

Nah after this last one the last thing I thinking about is finding someone else. I'll just save myself that headache. Thanks though haha.

Dude- my goal is to get back down under 200lbs. As for exercise well I try to get outside and go jog or hike whenever possible since my work schedule is a bit hectic. Other then that I'm not really sure to start? As far as dieting goes well due to time constraints and travel my diet was pretty bad. I've started drinking water and replacing snacks with fruit but that's about it.

How's it going RedUK?

There are exercises you can do right from your office while you work. Also taking stairs over elevator if it's a multi-level place. Prepare your food in advance if you know you'll be doing excess traveling. Can help from the eating out or eating poorly. Or buy things like lentil soups in a can, tuna, etc... Water and fruit is a good starting point. I'm sure you can find room for a high intensity work out for just 10 minutes a day. If you do that 7 days a week for just 10 minutes a day (could even be 3-5 days), you'll be in a great place. Doesn't always have to be the big things, sometimes the little things pack just as big of a punch. Hang in there, brother, you'll see your goal in due time.

It's going well so far. I changed my diet and started doing a bit of exercise and 10 weeks on I have lost about 32 pounds. Still going strong but starting to get really bored of the food I'm eating. Also, because I wanted to lose quite a bit of weight, feels like I still have a long way to go, hopefully can just carry on though!
