Hi.

I'm a 5 '9 235 pound male trying to get down to 185.

I've had some life changes that have slowed me up and allowed me to not put in effort in trying. I just recently started a new workout plan and look forward to any advice, help, motivation and hints.

Thanks for reading this.

welcome! and good luck! You might find that the forum is a bit dominated by women, but we don't bite, I PrOMISE! =) I would suggest starting a journal in the Diary section... keeping track of what I am eating and what kind of workouts I am doing has helped me alot. It also is a place where you can post and recieve advice etc, regarding your specific activities =)

again,welcome and good luck!

Hi I hope you enjoy it here as well as I have. Everyone here is very supportive! Make sure you check in with us on days you may not feel like dieting, we will help you get past it.

BTW...Amomono...as far as biting is conserned, speak for yourself! lol

good luck...kat

weight training is a guy's best friend for weight loss ... you don't have to be afraid of building bulk, as muscle burns fat very efficiently. Also, the protein shakes/bars/etc are a great source of calories, without wasting it on Carbs ....
