Hello! I was a member here back in 2007 & 2008

Back in late 2007 and early 2008 I used these forums a little. During that time I went from like 225 down to 175ish. I managed to keep it all off for about five years or so, but then it started coming back. The weight gain had a lot to do with some health issues, but it also had to do with me making poor decisions (mostly while traveling for work) So now I'm about where I was back in late 2007, and I'm hoping to recreate the results I had years ago. Back then I managed to lose the weight in what I think was a rather short period of time (my posts on here say I started at 220ish in Nov and was down to 175lbs my mid-march) I'm older now, so I don't know if that will make such results more difficult. I'd like to get down to 200, and then go from there (likely keep going, as I know how it can be "addicting" once it starts)

For the past week I've been adjusting my diet to be far more healthy and I've even bought another treadclimber (what I used before) The only difference is that I don't have access to weight system like I did then. I hope to eventually figure that out, even if it means joining a gym. Anyway, I figured I would come back, because the before/after stories really got me motivated and kept me focused in the past.


*My old screen name was syntaxerror. I was able to log in, but it didn't seem to want to work right on the forum. I'm guessing some software upgrades over the years made my old account a bit wonky.
