I'm depressed because of my weight. Last week I came to a realization that being alive is not worth a damn thing unless you live your life to the fullest. I was thin till I was 10 years old after that all things went to hell and now my weight is 121kgs (267lbs) and my height is 188cm (6ft 2in). I need to lose weight fast so that I can go outside and have a life. My target weight is 85kgs (187lbs). I know I'm overly ambitious but this is life or death situation for me. If I could I would cut half of myself to lose weight but since that or other expensive surgical procedures are not possible I started going on a diet with some exercise since last Saturday (Sep 24 2016).

Start with
Everyday I drink the following drink on an empty stomach.
(1tsp of raw bee honey + 2tsp of fresh lemon juice + 1 cup of warm water)

Exercise ~ 250 Calories Burned
Before breakfast I do some cardio exercise for 30mins followed by a Power Walk of 2KMs (1.2miles) on a treadmill at a speed of 5kph (3.1mph). I want to increase the distance slowly.

Breakfast ~ 500 Calories
[ex-
1 cup of Basmati Rice - 191 Calories
100g Canned Mackerel - 156 Calories
2tbsp (24g / ~1Oz) Cooked Lentils - 130 Calories]

Lunch ~ 400 Calories
[ex-
1 cup Cooked Mung Beans - 348 Calories
with salt and pepper or Tomato sauce]

Dinner ~ 150 Calories
[ex-
1 1/2 cup of Vegetable Soup (Homemade) - 147 Calories]

So basically I consume around 1200 Calories a day. I made this diet myself so I don't know if there are any health risks involved. I just really hope I'll lose some weight.

Hi, I have sucessfully lost 40% of my body weight, and now I`m sharing my knowledge with people, because I find it nice to help to people like I once was.

First advice I would give you is to STOP counting calories, reduce carb intake - you eat waaaay too much carbs. Try to replace carbs with veggies, eggs, meat, cheese, seeds, nuts,... Second do not overdo cardio, it makes you hungrier. 3x weekly 30 minutes is enough, add some weight lift (own or dumbells). Important note: don`t forget to stretch after excercise.
