Hello. I recently joined.

I've been trying to shed some extra pounds lately, and have been looking for a place to share ideas and motivation.
It seems I found one. Hopefully this site will help me lose the weight I don't want anymore.

Let's see... I'm only 17 years old at the moment, and I weigh at 150lbs. That's not horrible, I guess, since I'm sort of tall. But I can feel it as excess weight, and I no longer want it.
I have one month until university starts this fall, and want to do my very best.
I normally eat fairly healthily, but there's always room for improvement. I've begun exercising, however, and that seems to have had an effect already.

Hopefully I will stick to my plan of eating smaller portions and exercising a few times a day, and lose anywhere from 10-20 pounds before I begin college... Maybe even gain a small amount of muscle tone.
I also hope that I can contribute to this community. :D

Thanks everyone! I can already see some results, actually.
Maybe I kept this excess baggage before, because I just didn't exercise. :)
