Hey everyone! For those of you who do not know me, my name is Michelle and I am 16 years old. Before the Holidays, I was down to 119 pounds (I am 5'2) but excessive binge eating before, during, and after the holidays have led me to gain quite a bit of weigh back (don't know how much since I havn't been on the scale). But I am officially back on the eating healthy and exercise wagon and plan to stay there for good this time. I feel really great and can't wait to loose this weight again! My dad and I are going to Bally Total Fitness 4 days a week, I do the elliptical machine for about 40 to 45 minutes, burning about 500 to 600 cals) then I do either lower body or upper body strength training (depending on the day). I'm going to start checking out the other machines such as the other elliptical machines and the treadmills because I want to start doing something different lol. Well here is my menu for today...if ya'll think I can make some improvements to my eating or exercise plans then please feel free to give me any suggestions, I'd really appreciate them.
Breakfast: Weight Control Instant Oatmeal, vanilla soymilk
Lunch: Healthy Choice Country Vegetable Soup, rasburry's and blackberries
Snack" Granny smith apple
Dinner: Some chicken, rice, refried beans, onions and peppers mixed in together )leftovers from when we went to Azteca last night) my favorite mexican place ever!!

As a rule I really don't feel comfortable giving exercise and diet advice to minors. It is not that I am not trained to do so, merely more of a personal preference. What I can say is this...

Read and learn what you can and get informed. Get your parents to get involved as much as possible. Check out some books from the library. Basically do some solid research and present it to your parents.
