yes! I am doing a 500 calorie deficit per day. I have been doing it a month now and results have been steady

A calorie deficit is the only thing that actually works, regardless of how you achieve it, and a 500 kcal deficit is reasonable so you're off to a good start if you ask me. How are you finding it so far?
