Hi everyone, just thought I would introduce myself. I've been looking for a decent health/fitness forum for a while where people share ideas and opinions, hope this is the place! :action11:
I'm relatively new to fitness; although I played at going to the gym for over ten years, didn't really know what I was doing. Couple eating fewer than 1000 calories a day with up to 8 les mills classes a week I was tired, starving and just assumed weight loss would never happen for me!
Last year I took the leap and got a PT; wow were my eyes opened. I lost 2.5 stone and I absolutely LOVE weight training. Seeing progress you can measure not only in the weights you use but by definition in your body and shape. As a girl, I couldn't even open a jar of jam before
I now train 5 times a week and my current goal is to get super lean and stronger on some of my compound movements. I also qualified as a nutritional coach to understand nutrition better and am currently studying an advanced sports nutrition course too.
Life is good! Look forward to speaking with you all soon
