I am a 30 year old mom of 3 that has battled weight issues my entire adult life. Oh, how I miss the days of physical activity and a good metabolism! Lol.
I have both successfully and unsuccessfully tried many diets. Low carb worked wonders for me while I was doing it, as I lost 80 lbs in 5 months time! I also worked out 1 hour per day on my diet.. but when I became pregnant with my last child, I completely went off plan and ballooned up to my highest (and current weight): 261 pounds.
I started my diet 4 days ago weighing 261 lbs. This morning, I weighed in at 254 lbs!
I am drinking meal replacement shakes with added fruits, PB2 for flavoring and extra protein, and a little bit of greens. I like my shakes to be bulky and keep me full longer so i shoot for roughly 350-400 calories in my shakes. At 2 shakes per day (as meal replacements) and one salad for around 400 calories, I shoot for 1200 calories.. Occasionally, I will have a handful of berries as a snack. But I stay full and I am doing well so far. Incorporating walking on my treadmill when I hit the 240's! Thanks for reading!
