Hi Everyone,
Just thought I would introduce myself as I have just posted in one of your forums looking for some info and didn't want to seem rude by not saying hello
My name is Stephanie and I live in Liverpool, UK.
I have just embarked on changing my entire lifestyle and attitude to life in general based around health and fitness.
My partner is a personal trainer and nutritionist (not that I had ever listened to him or took his advice before now!)
I have always been very stubborn and set in my ways, I've never been massively overweight, but I've also never been happy in myself either, especially since having my two little boys, I really lost my confidence. I used to be really active in my school days but eventually lost enthusiasm, always tired running around after the little ones and just got through each day trying to dress to suit my shape and make myself feel a bit better where I could.
Life was ok, it wasn't amazing, but it was ok.
One day my partner up and left with no warning signs, I was heartbroken and literally on the floor for almost a month, eventually we realised he was suffering PTSD brought on my 8 years in the army, gradually we have put our life back together, but this time with a whole new attitude... never to make excuses in life and to always find the positive in every situation.
That's when we both decided we wanted to feel better in ourselves, he got back to the gym and I threw myself into a bootcamp! Alongside that our friend introduced us to Juice Plus lifestyle change.
Eating healthy & doing things right has really changed my life completely, I have gone down 3 dress sizes since Feb and my body is slowly but surely getting more and more toned and I am feeling unstoppable!
This post isn't about products or diets or fads, it's mostly about how a positive mental attitude can really change your life. Nothing really gets me down anymore, and I am a stronger, more determined person, a better and more fun mummy and a supportive and loving partner.
The biggest change I have made is that I have stopped making excuses to not do things, and focus on the reasons to do it! So I'm now starting a nursing course, I've also decided to do a new maths qualification because I've never been very good at it, I've dedicated myself to eating better and making my family eat better and I don't let myself be talked out of anything that could change our lives for the better.
I just want people to know that everyone has the ability to better their lives, no matter what the circumstance and if I can be inspiration for anyone or help anyone do the same as I have, then that will make me very happy
