I hope I can do this.... I am about to turn 30. I am really tired of looking and feeling like this. I have 2 kids, a husband and my own buisness. Please motivate me:( I really want to do this! I am about 215. My longterm goal is to get to 130. My shorterm goal is be down to 175 by April/May. What do you think? Is that safe?

Hi! Glad to have you w/ us! YOu can loose weight!! Absolutely!! They say the only difference between TRY and TRUIMPH is a little UMPH!! You can do it!

I was at 211 at my heaviest, and now I"m ALMOST at 179!! If I can do you, you can!

I'm a little worried about your short term goal, sounds kinda rough. You really should just plan on loosing 2 pds a week. Thats a safe loss. No one wants to just loose 2 pds a week, but its slow and steady that win the race. Now you could start your diet and loose alot right off the bat, but don't look for a big loss every week.

What kind of "diet" are you on??
 
Hi X2! Welcome to the forum. You have found a great place for both motivation and support. I would never be able to stick to my weight loss program without the great support I get here. I hope you will think about starting a diary soon so we can all get to know you better!

you should definately not try to lose too fast, try for 2 pounds a week and if that doesnt work out, make your goal at least 1 pound per week. slow loss is more like to STAY off in the long run.
 
Thanks.. I can live with losing 2-4 pounds a week..

How does that sound? I do not have a scale. Do you think I should get one?
 
I am trying to eat healthy and exersize. My main problem is I love to eat (everything!) I don't know why, it's just always been this way. I have about 80 pounds to lose and I'm afraid that's the easy part of it all (and it's really not easy) The challenge will be changing my habbits, my lifestyle for good. Wow that's hard to imagine.
