Hi everyone, glad to be here
! This seems like a really supportive place. I'm 24 years old, and I'm trying to lose about 15 pounds. I've been dieting on and off since I was 14 and I've tried a great number of things to lose and maintain my weight. Now I'm ready to make permanent changes to my lifestyle to lose weight and maintain my body at my goal weight. I also have tendencies toward compulsive eating behaviors, either eating too much or too little, and my main goal, in addition to losing weight, is freeing myself from these tendencies. I'd like to lose 1-1.5 pounds a week. I'm planning to eat 1000-1200 calories a day plus the number of calories I burn at the gym. I'm planning to go to the gym 4-5 days a week, do at least 30 min cardio each day I go, and lift some weights 1 or 2 days a week also. What do you think of my plan? Any suggestions? I will probably start a personal thread after I browse around here a little more. oh and BTW, what are these groups I see here and it is still possible to join one? Well, thanks for reading everyone!
