Hello and welcome back (to me)

Taz

New member
HI all, my name is Taz and I was a member here in 2008 (around that time, I think) I have lose touch with this forum for a good couple of years…And so I am back here again to start again for the 100th time to lose the weight AGAIN..I am feeling very very down and going through the depression tunnel which is why I am seeking help again..to feel motivated to lose weight and start all over again.

My weight has finally crept up to up high of nearly 200 pounds (which is around 89kg) on my 1.65cm frame…which is a lot!!

Staying in Asia, Singapore specifically, struggled with most food choices..I do workout but have not lost any weight, again due to food intake….Challenging family issues..married mother of 2 sole breadwinner for the family and I turn to food (of cos) when I am down, stressed and unhappy/angry…

I am so scared that I am not able to lose any weight based on my age. As they say the older you get the harder it is to lose all those extra pounds..

I need all the help that I can get and push to stop this vicious cycle…. Thank you for reading.

Welcome back :)

Hi, Taz & welcome back to the forum. I'm sure that you are not too old to lose weight. Try having one good day & congratulate yourself on that...& then another.......& before you know it you will be forming some good habits. Take it one day at a time. You can do this hon!
You may find some more support in the diary section of the forum. I, for one, don't often come in here. There are some lovely people in this forum.
Cheers, Cate.

hello Taz and welcome back home I on my part am a newbie joined today. shedding the extra weight has nothing to do with age only sheer determination support and love
I also will say don't fall for a fad diet you are better off sticking to a whole food plant based and common-sense diet. Eat a wide variety of plant sourced food. minimal red meat and alcohol. cut out sugar to zero.
lift your mind with some meditation or just simply alone time this helps with stress.
all the best
