Hello and others stories

Hi all. Thanks for having me.

I've been on a weight loss journey for 2 years now and have lost 3 stone. I gained some weight for an acting role, and then had to lose it and way more, to show the before and after of the character (which I'm still playing). It's a superhero, so I'm having to look athletic and sporty.

I'm now in the - what's called 'vanity pounds' - stage, trying to get leaner and more toned, whilst eating lots of healthy food and exercising 3-4 times a week.
It's therefore going slow but I'm seeing the difference all the time.

I searched for forum's and pages to connect with others who are on or who've been on a weight loss journey - this can be a lonely process and, now i'm in the vanity pounds stage, I still have a way to go.

I would just love to hear others stories. The reasons you wanted to lose weight, how you wanted your body to look, your motivations, how the journey's gone/going, your health - anything and everything!

Look forward to hearing back from people!

Hi Vicki, it's nice to hear your story. I love how you put it, "vanity pounds stage." I'm in the same boat. I don't have any pounds to lose but I am aiming to lose inches on my problem areas that bug me. I call it, working towards my beach-worthy bod. HAHA! same thing. Let's keep in touch to keep ourselves moving forward. ~ Allison

Hi Allison. That's great to hear. What do you feel are your problem areas? Is your body being bikini worthy the big motivation for you?
Yes, it's nice to connect - the last stage is the hardest!

Hey Vicki, yes, bikini-worthy body is my biggest motivation. My problem areas are upper arms, thighs, belly , and butt. It's getting better with each workout each day :) How about you? Do you have any specific problem areas that you're targeting?

Hi Allison. You've kind of described your whole body - haha! But yes, very similar for me - would like to tone up and lean down all over, but legs and stomach tend to be the most jelly-ish!
Hope it's going well for you, this week. Would love to hear your progress.
