Sport heard at the gym...

that your body can only absorb 5oz of meat every 3 hrs....any more then that and you're packing fat. anyone else heard that? true or not?

if it's true, is it meat only, or 5oz of protein, whether it's cheese, eggs, etc

?

Thats along the lines of that old wise tale of your body only digests 30g of protein at any one time.
 
I don't listen to what other people say at the gym. I heard one guy say that the best thing to do before going to sleep at night is to eat a big bowl of cereal. Another guy said that the best thing you can do is drink a bottle of gatorade before you go to bed. Everybody thinks they are an expert, when in reality they are just ignorant.
