Sport healthy eating?

Sport Fitness
hi

lately i have been having a problem with eating. i don't really know what to eat anymore. I thought that I used to eat heathly, but it seems like every food has tons of carbs, and there is just no way around eating a lot of carbs. I know that carbs are healthy but I feel like I eat too many, and if I cut back then there wouldn't be anything to eat. I eat small proportions, and I eat very slowly. It has gotten to the point where I rarely eat anything all day because I don't know what to eat. I hate cooking for myself, only for other people....and I live in a small studio, so cooking and doing dishes is a big pain in the ass because everything is so cramped. I look in my pantry and fridge and there is nothing that makes me want to eat. I tried making a canned salmon sandwich with whole grain heath bread, took one bite and threw it away because I lost my appetite because I thought it was nasty. If I don't like what I'm eating, I can;t eat it. I eat a lot of corn and fruit, some cereal, sometimes carrots and potatoes and salmon. I also love thai food. I feel like everything I eat is bad for me, even though I do not eat fast food or fried food. I like food that is fast and easy to make, because when I get hungry I want food right away, not in the half hour it takes to cook it. I also don't have time to cook and clean all the time. What should I do?

What are your fitness goals? Are you trying to lose weight?

If the answer is 'no', then you probably don't need to change your diet as long as you don't eat too much processed food and food containing too much saturated fat.

If the answer is 'yes', then you need to post your typical daily menu here. We can have a look at what you're currently eating and advise what's missing or what need to be reduced/ cut out. And, I think, if you're really serious about your goal you will have to be more flexible about the food you eat and the way it is prepared.

You have a lot of high GI carbs listed as potatoes, corn etc. You can buy brocolli and cauliflower already cut up for snacks. I'm the same way about food most of the time.I imagine salmon does taste yucky right out of the can. I like lemon pepper salmon as I'm not crazy about it either. Do you like tuna? It's quick out of a can. You can also boil some eggs and even peel in advance.:D Instead of eating all the yolks put humus or guacamole where the yolk goes. I hope I helped you with a few ideas. I eat a lot of tomatoes. Ironicly it is one veggie that's better for you cooked. Get some organic peanut butter and put it in celery. I eat a lot of chicken and then more chicken. lol Good luck!:)
