I eat 1/3 cup of liquid egg whites with one tbs of Heinz no salt ketchup and Quaker instant oatmeal (original) everyday. I’m getting tired of eating the same breakfast everyday. I’m to the point we’re I dread eating breakfast. I need variety but I don’t know what else to eat so I don’t gain weight any ideas?
 
How many calories is your current breakfast? Just substitute something that has an equal number of calories.

INstead of eggs and oats, have oats and fruit. Have eggs and toast. Have turkey on a slice of whole grain. :) Have yogurt and fruit. Have yogurt and oats. Whatever.

Just pick things that are about the same calorie range and you'll be fine.
 
Is it ok to have toast though? Toast scares the life out of me as I associate it with gaining weight :eek:.........I love toast but it is the work of the devil lol

I am going to look into finding a gorgeous smoothie recipe.....but I am loving porridge at the minute.
 
Toast is not bad for you. It's calories.

Don't be scared of carbs..be scared of too many calories.
 
lol well it's true!

Too many get caught up with carbs and protien and fats. Are you eating a balanced diet? Good. Want to lose weight? Be careful of the calories. That's the main key.
 
Why do you associate toast with gaining weight? What is magical about toast that = weight gain?

Hint - NOTHING

What is different between eating toast (a whole grain) and a bowl of oats (a whole grain)?

Hint again - NOTHING

A grain si a grain is a grain is a grain. If you're already eating a whole grain with your meal, then substituting another whole grain ... well ... why would that be an issue?
 
Would it be different if it was white bread?

All I know is that in the past when I have cut bread out the weight has fallen off me.....I don't think my body likes bread tbh.....but I do get the theory and do see what you are saying.

It does worry me though....eating it that is.:p
 
Great fed up with wit your regular break fast. lets change your mood by having two or three fruit's & a cup of milk with added tastes. But use it alternatively. Its been great to your LINK REMOVED health.
