This was horrible news!
My dogs have been off of all dog food for quite awhile now - they eat meat (cooked, vegies, fruit & cottage cheese).
Their vet firmly believes in recreating as closely as possible what dogs have evolved to eat and he has been very much against commercial pet foods - there is no control or oversight as to what they can put into pet food.
My vet has some podcasts at if anyone is interested in listening to what he has to say.
I can NOT believe what better nutrition has done for my pets!
