Hi. I'll be 40 in May. I'm 5'6, and about 275 lbs. I gained about 150 lbs in a very short time due to emotional eating. I've since improved my life drastically, and want to work on getting my weight down again. I should also mention that I'm a cook, so all those good burgers, chicken wings, fries, etc, is easily obtainable.
A week ago I decided to get a grip on my eating habits. I have been drinking water, and green tea only, as well as only eating vegetables, fruit, rice and chicken.
I have also been doing 45 minutes of cardio in the morning.

I'm finding that the last few days, mostly during the evening and night time, I've been experiencing headaches. Is this due to suddenly eating healthy, or am I missing something in my diet?

Could be a combination of both. This is pretty common in the beginning stages. I wouldn't worry too much about it, eventually it will go away as your body adjusts to the new lifestyle you've created for yourself. It's not used to the new ways just yet.

Sometimes when you make a drastic change it takes your body a while to get used to it. Like stopping coffee.
One thing you might want to check is if you're getting enough healthy fats?

Any idea how long this should last? I've had similar problems with adjusting. Passed a physical with flying colors last week, but I really think I should feel better than I do.
