He was crying......

ok, I may come across as mean, but I was just talking to my hubby who had a criminal in the back seat of his patrol car, he was on his way to jail for beating up his wife I found out. While I'm trying to find out if hubby is coming home for dinner ( I'm surprising him with crab cakes I made from some crab he caught yesterday), I hear this guy crying!!!!

How sad is that???? :11doh:

The guy is complaining to my hubby in tears....

I couldn't help it.....I burst out laughing......if he acts that way at the jail he's gonna be someone's B**ch real soon!!! :action3:

Karma......what goes around comes around......

Good Grief.......

When it comes down to it, abusers are always the biggest p*ssies. My husband works in a prison ..

well then he knows eh? It's amazing how quick *some* people are to do the crime, but when it comes to dealing with the consequences of their actions they fall apart.....

I've heard them screaming, and cursing and such but blubbering was a new one for me....

They do that a lot. Cry that is. And when you get the cuffs on them they become prize fighters and ask you to take them off so they can beat you up. The best part is when you do and they just stand there.
I have had guys literally blubbering about going to jail over the silliest crap. Most of the criers are drunk. The fighters are cracked out. And the talkers are the ones that know they will be back out in 30 minutes.

Guess they feel all big and tough beating on a woman ..

yeah and when the cops come, they shrivel up....lol

well I heard the stories of the guys who act tough, and the ones who actually are, but this guy was faking a heart attack, said he couldn't breathe, and a number of other things because he didn't want to go to jail...

My Hubby doesn't screw around. The jailer don't either so he'd better get his act together or he is in for a surprise........lol

All in a days work. You can't afford to screw around but you also have to CYA. I had one die on me one night after swallowing crack. A dead suspect in a patrol car is NOT a good thing to deal with. We never screwed around either. That got guys hurt or killed. Take care of business and move on.

yeah, that is exactly why he was running late, they had to call the medics to be sure. Of course, out here that take a lot of time and ties them up for what ends up to be for no reason.

I know it's hard because among them you got the druggies who are unpredictable, and the violent drunks like the one who tried to run hubby over with his truck and he almost got himself shot this afternoon.

It's a hard job, and at times can be thankless, but I can say, "Thanks! :) " I know you guys got it hard out there.......

I am no longer a cop. I got out after 7 years when my first child was born. But I miss it. I had been cut, shot at numerous times and hit seriously by a car once.(not seriously several times :) )
5 of my years were on midnight shift in the projects. My wife used to sleep with the scanner on next to her when I was working but after getting into shootings and realy bad crowd fights a few times she ad to start turning it off so she could sleep and not worry.

7 years is long enough to experience it :) I can imagine it was stressful on your wife. I couldn't listen to the scanner...*yikes* I just accept the fact my DH has been doing this for 21+ years, and he knows what he is doing...:D

He has had his share of "encounters" but thankfully only once I got a call from the hospital. He and another deputy got into it with a violent drunk and it was game on. They got knocked around by this guy (he was 6'2 and 250 lbs.....while my hubby is only 5'9 155 lbs) But my hubby is stubborn and he went hand to hand with this guy.... In the end the guy got it worse...lol :angry3:

Hubby did get a few bruised bones but nothing broken.

They have a rep here for not fooling around. They don't tolerate ANY BS..none....
