Having some issues with the treadmill

I am having some issues with the treadmill. The first issue is that I just gave birth 3 months ago and since then have been have extreme pelvic pain, so I am scheduled to have a pelvic ultrasound in a week per my obgyn. I notice that every time I am on the treadmill I have more pain in that area, but I was told that the bike is only for those people that are old, or disabled. Is this true? the bike that I am referring to is a bike that you sit in almost like a car seat. I should be able to still burn calories right? I just need the pelvic support. Or is there another way to get a cardio workout without placing so much pressure on my pelvic area? Please help, I need answers.:banghead:

Anything that gets you moving is good, bike or pogo stick. You can get a challenging workout on a bike if you make it challenging. Try doing 30 seconds of fast peddling within your regular peddling.
Good Luck with the doctor. Have you been doing your Kegals?

The recumbent cycle is fine as far as cardio goes. The most important thing at this point is what your doctor said. He/she should know far more about what should/shouldn't be doing considering your pain.
