I used to be a junk food junkie, I haven't had any in 3 weeks. I have been eating healthy and working out 4x/week as well for 3 weeks and I haven't lost a pound. In fact it looks like I may have gained a pound. I haven't measured myself so I may have lost inches I am not sure.

I have heard that because I have been working out, perhaps I have been building muscle- which obviously weighs more than fat.

Help, I'm so upset I'm almost ready to eat cake :(

Should I allow more time for results, I feel 100% better and my clothes seem a little looser.

The scale is just one method of measuring. I tell people...

-Measurement
-Pictures
-Mirror
-how clothes fit
-Body fat %
THEN the scale

You have been at it for a short time, takes years to put it on, allow some time to take it off:)

It could take time for your body to adjust to new healthy foods ya know I saw it say that on a TV show once

about a year ago i was trying to loose weight and the same thing happened to me. i want loosing any weight i was getting really down on my self but i kept waiting and eventually i saw some results and lost about ten pounds in 5 weeks so it can take time dont give up your doing great as long as your doing your best then you should be satisfied with that
best of luck livlovlaf

Like Tony said, please list in detail your exercise routine and an average day of the foods you eat and drink. There could be a lot of places calories hide, if you've been replacing things like soda with milk, you won't make headway, or if you still eat a large amount of refined carbs (white bread, white rice, products with added sugar or hf corn syrup).

I had that happen. It seems the first step to that first pound is a complete reassessment of my life. What helped me was a cleansing diet.

The internet is covered with assistance for a cleaning diet, but do TONS of research because you don't want to eat too few calories in a day and cause your body to start storing fat.
