So ive been working out hard for 10 months now. I started at 235lbs running about 3 miles a day(very slow) varying how i run weekly(speed,distance HITT etc.) i then went down to 185 and decided to start hitting the weights hard again.Not to put on alot of bulk but to aid with the weight loss. During this time i wasnt eating breakfast or lunch so i also incoporated that into my life which is now going very well. I hit a wall and cant get my stomach cut up anymore than it is and im frustrated..
My diet.
Breakfast: i eat oatmeal(helthly wheat kind with flax etc.) and an orange with cofee and water
lunch: i eat low sodium turkey or tuna on a whole wheat wrap with an apple or grapes
Dinner: I eat a variety but its always a protein(steak,turkey,chicken,tuna,talipia etc.) with a vegatable/Fruit
I try to pick only foods(fruits) from the low glycymic index as much as possible. I drink plenty of water a day no soda juices etc. I stay away from all salt as i think my face is fat and im trying to slim that down as well.
I take a multivitamin and L-Glutamine daily along with a small protein shake after working out(muscle milk light)
Ive noticed my weight now stays steady at 190 daily. Im not so much focused on my weight anymore as i am my body transformation, as i know with lifting i will start to gain muscle.
I now run 1.5 miles daily still(mon-thurs), never miss a day. I cant run any more daily as my body just cant handle it. but i do run it very quickly depending what kind of running workout im doing, then i lift for 45 minutes a day, always working out quickly and doing supersets to keep my heartrate up.I dedicate 15 minutes a day for abs only, i also switch it up as much as possible to target all different areas in my stomach.
Any suggestions on whats going on? what am i doing wrong? how can i fix it?
What can i change?
