Hats off to anyone who does Pilates!

For the last few months I have been using my treadmill & light weights as a workout. I started Pilates using a dvd yesterday.

How can anything that looks so easy be that hard?

My hats are off to the Pilaterers!

I only made it through about 10 minutes of the routine the first time but I can already tell it will really help with my problem areas.
 
I have been doing Pilates a few times a week, and I just started a Yoga/Pilates DVD. It works my muscles, but it is easier and more relaxing for me than cardio. I find myself refreshed instead of tired when I'm finished. :)
 
I live for that stuff! I do like pilates and love that it's so hard for my washboard abs sister to do. I can do it easily now (well, at least not with too much difficulty) and my sister struggles. Yet she looks perfect. She's evil ;).
 
I have been to the odd intermediate pilates class at the gym.. and really don't find it strenuous at all
I have almost nodded off on some occasions
(well it's dark and warm)
and yes I do do it properly lol
but to those that it helps then good for you! I know it's good for core stability (which I need cause I have a bad back, gee for someone so young I have a hell of a lot of physical problems!) and posture etc
