Hate english with a passion.

Every other subject in year 11 i am fine with but i am in standard english and i have an assessment to talk about physical journeys in 3 prescribed texts and one chosen text and its freaking hard! I enjoyed my assessment for pdhpe tho and it was quite easy compared to my English one. I am stressing so much because i gotta give a 3-5 min speech for this :(

I always hated english just for the simple fact that the result was so unpredictable. I can remember spending ages and writing up what i thought were awesome reports only to get a C+ or so. On the other end i'd spend 30 minutes (no that's not an exaggeration) and just type whatever comes to my head, proof read it, hand it in and get A-. 1 minute is equal to about 200 words of text so 3 - 5 minutes is a sinch...Well usually it is...To be honest i have no idea what you're on about - "i have an assessment to talk about physical journeys in 3 prescribed texts and one chosen text"

Care to elaborate some more on that?

Well yeah we have texts that all have something to do with physical journeys and we talk about meanings and techniques and all that shizel

Yeah i know what your talking about. I had inner journeys.

English was easily my worst subject, failed half yearlys didnt know it counted. Tried heaps hard for the HSC and ending up getting 78 what a comeback! was easily my lowest mark though but oh well. You want to do well, i gained about 30marks by buying a couple books at that dominees book store (MUST GET). Theres also a website called EXCELLENT.

I ain't that smart altogether :( i wish i tried harder in school when i was younger thats prob one of my greatest regrets :( If i could have one wish in the world it would be to have pro level genetics and body build for a living :jump1:

I was a knucklehead in school and I remember one time when I got an F in English my mom said "What the hell language do you speak?"

Whatever you do it matters! I hope I don't sound like Chillen here but ROCK ON!!! Put in more effort and have a good attitude. Effort and attitude are directly proportional to the results sowed.

thats what i did, failed half yearlies, tried heaps hard for the final exam and smashed it, beat a lot of the top guys in class..
