Last fall I was in the hospital for 4 weeks with panniculitis. I also ended up with an abscess that had to be surgically drained. I relapsed with both over Christmas. I am type 2 diabetic since last year and so healing is difficult. I just healed from the second abscess drain after being on a wound vac since December. Soon I will be having a panniculectomy and hernia repair. It is kind of scary for me. The panniculectomy is a tummy tuck to prevent the panniculitis from relapsing. Since I am morbidly obese I will still have a lot of weight to lose after the tummy tuck. I am limited with what kinds of work out that I can do so i am focusing on diet.
