Has anybody ever tried "beta 7" supplement?

If you want to waste your money then id recommend it

The choice of words is interesting "BETA-7: The Legal Performance-Enhancement Edge for Athletes". I do not subscribe to taking anything other than a multi-vitamin or fish oil and so those words have no effect on me.

However for those intent on filling their bodies with creatine and whatever else - might be tempted to dig deeper in their pockets. Some of those things seem more expensive than gold with little or no independent reviews.

Let me guess, you're under 20 right? Or you've been training for less than 5 years? You have a lot to learn and being a hardass is only going to keep you from it
Touché? I didn't mean to touch on a raw nerve otherwise I'd have brought in some laughing gas ... What do they say about bulls in a china shop? (Actually that might be a bull in a gym). :)

Beta 7 or Beta-alanine is a naturally occurring beta amino acid. Beta-alanine has been shown to increase the concentration of carnosine in muscles, decrease fatigue in athletes and increase total muscular work done. I have taken it and there was a noticeable difference in my training and intensity. I personally recommend it. It isn't a gimmick.

I have also been reading upon the supplement. I would like to read more about it before I would attempt it though, as it seems to have the same effects as creatine.

eh, biotest is coming out with more and more gimmicky stuff i wouldn't bother with.

Ain't that the truth. They used to put out some really good supps, some of which were legit pro-hormones and pro-steroids.

But since the FDA ban on those, they've started to become the next MuscleTech.

I've pretty much stuck to ON for basic whey and vitamins, and go with AtLarge Nutrition for other things, since they don't seem to have fallen to most other supp. company's standards.

Their line is short but sweet.

I will say, however, that T-Nation's articles on diets, and workout routines are excellent. Bear in mind that about half their content is written by people who don't work for BioTest. (Waterbury, Cosgrove, etc.)

did you take it with creatine?

Is beta 7 supposed to be stacked with creatine? I did not see that part in the article. Can someone quote the appropriate part if it was so reported.

It did say that, read it more carefully.

EDIT: It didn't say that it was suppose to be stacked, it said it works well with creatine though.

Beta 7 is supposed to be taken more than 4 times a day to be effective as i read in one place. How many times is creatine supposed to be taken? I've seen a place on the net where some dudes are trying to mix A, B, C and D to achieve maximum gains which can be quite expensive and also potentially hazardous.

What happened to good ol' exercise and diet?

Beta-alinine works differently than creatine. But at the same time it's shown to be the best ergogenic supp behind creatine and caffeine. It helps in the higher rep ranges, while creatine is in the lower rep ranges, it also has no effect on water and takes a few weeks of use to work well. But it can cause parethesia which is a scary thought... I've used it for a while with CEE and CoQ10 and it's helpful.

It all sounds like greek to me though a high protein diet suffices on my part. Derwyddon can you explain if beta 7 and creatine can be "stacked" as this is what the OP is likely to be asking in reality. Stacking has gained some notoriety by roid users and all, but this is not what he probably wants.

Do you even know what stacking means? You are a very uneducated yet opinionated person.
I guess I could ask you the same thing since the part of your brain responsible for good manners has probably suffered blunt force trauma. Stacking here is used like the synergy effect (2+2=5).
