Sport Hard Boiled Eggs - a good snack?

I am trying to come up with some good for me snacks that i can bring to work. I was just wondering if Hard Boiled eggs would make a good snack and if so, how many?
 
the average large egg has 6g of protein (half in the white, half in the yolk)

eggs are fine if they fit into your macro goals, just watch the fat (3g per egg, all in the yolk)
if cholesterol is a problem in your family history, I wouldn't eat a ton of yolks.

If you do eat them whole, 4 eggs is about 18g of fat, 4g of carbs, and 24g of protein.
 
Thanks for the info. My cholesterol is very low and don't really think its been a problem in my family. Any idea on how many cals are in each egg?

2 would probably be sufficient for snack purposes...just wondering if was an ok snack rather than something i should stick with for a meal.

The goal is to lose weight and tone up.
 
Great idea. Plenty of high quality protein in the egg white and actually a bit in the yolk as well, although there is roughly 6 grms of fat in the yolk too.
 
they are an awesome and easy snack, i always throw 3 hard boiled jumbos in my school bag. a junbo is 90 cal, 5g fat and 8g protein each. Just be sure that if you dont eat them you take them out of your bag...
 
Yeah, everytime I crack one open someone complains about the smell...ah well...they can deal with is
