OMG I am so in the mood for Halloween decorating. I have to get control of myself and wait just a couple of weeks.....
Any good tips on decorating? Treats? Costumes?
Every year we had HUGE Halloween parties, biggest one = well over 100 people..... that was a crazy one, let me tell you..... fun fun fun :p

just thought of a down side to halloween...... candy candy candy candy candy !!!!

I havn't celebrated halloween since I was...nine...o.0 It's started dying out around here, anyways...last year I didn't even see anyone out on the streets. No one with lights on, either, except one house on the other street...

Costumes are always fun, though! If I were going to celebrate, I think I'd be an rogue of some sorts...*laughs*

Maybe some spider web stuff! With little mini pumpkins with goofy faces, hehe.

Oh Cort, Halloween is my families most fav holiday. Better than christmas! In fact we are not too fond of christmas, although we do celbrate it for the kids....

The past few years I have been...
1999 sexy devil (first party with Phil) devil is right tee hee hee
2000
2001 medevil princess
2002
2003
2004 did my make up as a goth chick

For some reason I lost my memory of what I was the other years... maybe nothing, just partied my butt off.....

We always have spider webs, giant spider on ceiling, pumpkins, fog machine, black lights, red strobe light, scare crow with an old costume on it.
candles, incense, scary music, bobbing for apples, costume contest,
I'm good at decorating, still have stuff accumulated over the years.
rubber screaming vibrating rat in a trap, a baby horse mummified in a coffin (dont know where it came from!)
people are always leaving us with stuff every year, I dunno how many clown wigs we have from all the scary clowns in town!
ummmmmmmm...

I JUST LOVE HALLOWEEENNNNNNNN

OooOOoo Girl you go all out!! i love halloween dress up every yr, i add to my collection of decoration every yr too lol fog machine!!! i wish im looking forwards to getting one some day. sexy witch last yr was a blast! pumkins decorated all spooky blood oooozing out of the mouth and head awesome stuff!! i love the fake web its all over the house! i cant wait now you got me in the mood too! :D

i was a cheerleader last year. but i cant wear the same costume since i lost weight oh well! i was thinking of picking one out from this site lol

I enjoy trick or treat night. Seeing the kids dressed up and such. This will be Emmas first real year of trickortreating. It also reminds me that fall is in full force, my fav. season! We don't decorate with halloween things. Just pumpkins and bail of hay, ect. Don't mean to be the bummer of the group, I just think the witches and ghosts and such is a little to "evil" for our blood.

I know you'll say I'm crazy, but for the past 3 yrs, we've put up the christmas tree on halloween!!

We don't decorate much here either. We do the pumpkins, hay, and little scarecrows in the hay. My boys are going to be dragons this year, if I would ever get off my duff and start making them. I got a sewing machine about 2 years ago for Christmas and I have gone sewing crazy! Quilts, baby bags, clothes, EVERYTHING... muuhhhaaa!!!! I just love it. Remington (6) is going to be a green dragon and Tanner (4) wants to be Sypro the purple dragon. I am having a hard time finding purple material believe it or not. Green was really easy to find.

Did you try wal mart for purple material? JoAnn fabrics, Hobby Lobby.....

CHRISTMAS TREE ON HALLOWEEN!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
When do you take it down? Easter? LOL gotta luv ya!

 christmas tree on halloween? i dont know what we are gonna do this year, the dog has been tearing up everything in sight! im ready to send him to another hime now.

oh, I forgot about the puppy. They all go through this stage for some dumb reason. Just try to supply him with a few different kind of chew toys of his own. Puppies go through teething as childern do. They also sell something at Petsmart called bitter apple. Sometimes if you spray that on things hes been chewing, he will not chew it anymore. Unless he likes the taste of bitter apple. LOL There are a few different things you can do about it, try asking your local petshop. Maybe he needs obedience class.... do you have a PetSmart near you?

Yeah our dog did the same thing(wish i had known about that stuff lol)we just gave him alot of those chew bones you can get them at walmart(or a pet store but sometimes they can be more expensive)they get yucky and slimy but he loves em....dont get anything that might look like a kids toy(stuffed chew toys and the like) bc then hell start eating up the kids toys...learned the hard way. as your dog gets older though it will slow down some.
when he does chew on some thing thats his give him lots of positive attention....when he doesnt then you give him the harsh bad doggie voice lol worked pretty good for us. good luck :)

Yep, a christmas tree on halloween..I don't do my christmas decorating till the end of november ( I dont want people thinking I'm too crazy) We have been taking it down, about mid jan!

I have one decorating idea that my daughter came up with a few years ago. If your using a black light in a room with windows. Get aluminum foil, crumple it up,straighten out but leave it wrinkled. Use white and black spray paint and spray splotches and streaks all over it. If you end up with heavy spots wipe with a paper towel lightly. Use the foil to cover the windows. It will give them a kind of cracked dusty ghostly look in the black light. If it looks too obvious(depends on the room size) hang black gauzy material over it. It sounds weird but it really gives a creepy effect.
