Ran the DRC's (Dallas Running Club) half-marathon today in preparation for my December marathon. My finishing time was 1:44:55.81. I'm fairly pleased with the time. There's some room for improvement, but wouldn't be all that disappointed if I could hold the pace for the big race. I came in 5th place in my age group (431 overall out of 4000)!

Nice job James! Was that your first one? Under 1:45 is very respectable! I ran under 1:45 for the first time this year also! Great placing! Good luck for your marathon! Which one is it?
Hey thanks! Yeah this was my first half. A buddy that I do 5ks with told me about it and I ended up not even finding him lol. I'm gonna be running the White Rock Marathon in Dallas.

Thanks to everyone that replied. I'm glad that today is my day off from training because my knee is a bit sore lol.
heat, stretch and ice!...and maybe fine a pretty lady to give your knee a massage

I tore my mcl in football my junior year. It doesn't usually give me problems, and I don't even know that the soreness has anything to do with it, but I figured that could be part of it. I'm thinking it MIGHT just need a pretty lady to fix it
