HAHAHAH I'm back foo...

Yea thats right, you heard correctly, the banhammer is back!

LOL just kidding. For those of you who don't know who I am (and probably could care less) I'm one of the original moderators of this forum, some of my posts are famous (or infamous) and some are just plain ridiculous.

I now have internet again during the day while I work (thanks to my brand spankin new wireless laptop and some lucky unsecured wireless access points) so I'm able to lurk-post-ban.

The last two years have been interesting, they consist of a divorce, a marriage, an injury, a lazy spell, a fire lit under my butt, and me getting back into the groove again. I broke a bone in my foot and could no longer train. It took about 3 months for that to heal fully (I work on my feet) and by that time I hit the lazy button, I went from 230 up to 300 pounds. Back in February I got active again, went back to the dojo to get my last colored rank before black belt. I've dropped 40 of that weight back off so far and starting the second half of my push back to 220.

I missed this forum, and I'm glad I have an opportunity once again to serve the members.

Welcome back big ugly!

Hey, I've been here just about long enough to remember you, welcome back.

You need to change your avatar though, you look like an undertaker! ;)

Matt, calling me big ugly is like saying you actually had a right to review karkys heterosexual card.... I mean you spend 75 percent of your time in Evo's kilt... irony ?

And I am gonna change my avatar, I saw that pic and cringed, I don't know why I thought it was a good pic back in the day. :)

Thanks for the welcome

Welcome back

Good work on losing that weight...I'm sure the rest will come off pretty quick. I've always noticed that people who used to be fit, then gained weight, will generally lose the weight quite fast...as if the body just wants to be lean again. Very much unlike those of us who've been tubby all our lives, our kind of fat just clings to you for dear life and almost needs to be burned off a fraction of an ounce at a time. A trainer at my gym had a similar issue...he quit working to take care of his dying mother; he gained like 80 pounds....but the moment he started watching his diet and exercising a bit, wham: the weight just came right down, you can see it every week he looked leaner. Whereas I'm seemingly starving myself, doing hours of exercise and progress is infinitely slower!

As for you, yeah....you'll be in shape faster then a rock band can fire their drummer and just buy a drum machine! :D

Btw....for your intro, I'd have chosen this :shower:
