GT2003 - It's crunch time

Time to kick it back into gear. As you probably recall, back in August I weighed in at just over 241 lbs. I managed to get all the way down to 195.5 and have held right around 200 lbs ever since. My ultimate goal is 190. I've been eating fairly well, exercising/running 2-4 days/wk and pretty much maintaining around the 200 lb mark. Obvioulsy I must have been pretty content with that because I hadn't kicked it back into gear until now.

Finally a little motivation, a patient of mine was not meeting the goals he set for himself. Now, he was still gradually losing weight but not at the rate he wanted. So, I opened my big mouth and challenged him to set a weight loss goal. I told him that I would meet my 190 lb goal by the date of his next appointment if he would set an achievable goal for himself and meet it. So, the battle is now ON! I've got my game plan which focuses a lot of physical activities during the weekend (my worst time) as well as other physical activities during the week. By keeping busy during the weekends and not gaining that little bit of extra weight, I will be able to meet my goal. I expect his next appointment to be in 2-3 weeks so I've got to get on the wall. Here's the plan:

Cardio/workout - 3 days during the week plus Saturdays and Sundays

Fitday - Beginning today, commit to documenting my food intake until I reach my goal!

NOW, best of all, REWARDS!, ladies beware, this can be gross to some so get ready for it.........laser hair removal on my back, LOLOLOL! I've wanted to do this for a while but wouldn't until I had reached my goal. So, here it is! Once I reach my goal I'm going to get it done. It's a long term process of one treatment every 6 weeks and will take almost 9 months to complete. I can't wait. So, stay tuned. I'll document everything here including fitday logs, exercise logs and eventually pictures once I meet my goals.

I want to see before and after pics of that back of yours!!! lol

Good luck!

That ought to be a popular thread, lol! But, hey, I posted pics of my fat *** at over 240 lbs so what's a hairy back compared to that!

Can I make a coat out of the hair? It is below 0 here

Sure, I'll send it to you, no charge! But, I want a picture of the coat once you are finished!

Here's my food log for the day.

My step Dad ended up in the hospital again so my workout got lost. I stayed well within my calorie needs for the day so not a bad start with the curves that were thrown at me today. I honestly thought about stopping by and buying a six pack (or so) of beer and chilling out for the evening but thank goodness I made the right decision! I'll update tomorrow. Thanks for looking!

Nice g8r. I figured you were still hitting it hard! With my step dad in the hospital, my workouts have suffered the last couple of days. He is a bit better and will hopefully continue to improve. I have done pretty well on my eating calorie wise. I need to focus more on the nutrient content of some of the foods in my diet though. Always room for improvement. Here's my food log for the day:
