Hello, everyone!
My name is Zoran, I'm 44 years old. I came here to expand my knowledge and share my experience. I've practiced a few martial arts in the past, when I was younger.
My weight changed over time. Last year I had an operation, so I didn't workout almost a year. And now I decide to get back in shape. and hopefully you will help me in my journey.

Welcome Zoran!

Thanks! So, I started 5 weeks ago, working out from home. There are 2 reasons for that, first this corona issue (gym is closed, than open, than I don't know...), a second, I'm often very busy and tired, and it used to happen to me to skip workouts and eventually stop exercising.
For now I'm using Insanity videos for workout, and it's pretty intense. I haven't changed my menu, I eat the same food as before, I just try to eat a little less.

Sounds like a decent plan - you´re definitely not the only one working out at home right now. Keep posting, look around the diaries a bit to get to know people to help keep up your motivation, and I´m sure you´ll do well!

hi Zoran... Serbia... wow. i hope you let us know something about your diet. i'd love to hear about the sort of markets you have and what foods, especially fruits and vegetables are available. also, please check out the "what i saw on my walk today" string. it would be great to see some of your local sights.

good luck with your challenge of getting back in shape. either here or if you start a diary page, it would be good to know, current height/ weight... it's usually easy to guess your goal from even that little bit of information.

Yes, I'll start a diary page. I’m not so much focused on diet as on active exercise. I don't want to be skinny guy, I'm more a muscular type. I eat almost everything, I just avoid sugar. So I dropping my weight very slowly. My plan is to lose a maximum of 1% of my weight per week. So, if I have 90kg, it' s around 3.5kg/month. I lost 2.5kg first month, so I'm good (I said maximum 1% :) )

1%/week is about the maximum recommended amount so it sounds like you're off to a great start.
