I looove green tea! does it help your digestive system? is it okay to drink more than one cup a day? let me know your thoughts on green tea. i also heard ginger tea is good for you.

if u add some lemon juice to your green tea its good for digestive system,aand it cleanse your stoamch and makes bowl movement easier, green tea has caffiene in it but not too muchto worry about..
if u want to lose some bosy fat u can drink up to 4/5 cups easily without worying,but exccess of everything is bad
as far as ginger tea is concerned,its good for sore throat if u add some honey in it
it also helps if u have cough.,taking a cup of ginger tea before your breakfast adding some honey helps u loose weight
infact honey plus some lemon juice in lukewarm water 30 minutes before taking your breakfast is good for weight loss

i know a bit about aurveda,due to my indian roots:)
 
Jokingly, green tea is good for you because the snapple chinese (it's not a racial joke, I'm chinese) man says "EGCG helps boost your metabolism and burns fat"
 
Hello "Slimsadie", you said something about honey + lemon juice + water thing. Long time back, my grandfather once suggested me once exactly how and when to take this for weight-loss. But I never listened to him and he is not more around. Could you please tell me? Appreciate it.

oh sure
u take 1/2 glass of luke warm water with 1/2 lemon squeezed and 1 tsp of honey ,every day atleast 1/2 hour before your breakfast.

it helps u lose weight and its tested ,my friend lost 15 lbs just taking it and without much exercise.
 
If you like green tea, you can also try to find a good "Matcha" tea..It is a green tea from Japan. Very good...Pete
