Studies have shown that green tea is effective in lowering LDL cholesterol levels and reducing the abnormal formation of clots.

There is more good news- a study at the University of Geneva found that men who were given a combination of caffeine and green tea extract burned more calories than those only on caffeine. Green tea also has anti bacterial properties, so its helps prevent tooth decay also.
 
Try to get 4-5 cups of green tea daily.Replace sodas with ice green tea and coffee with hot green tea.
Drink green tea with acai berry.Try green tea pills.
 
=S the caffeine part makes me nervous. Other great teas that are caffeine free - lemon/ginger (muscle repair), peppermint (calming, you tend to eat less if you have it before a meal) and dandelion tea (acquired taste but still a great coffee alternative).
 
There's nothing wrong with caffeine. It's actually shown to increase muscular endurance and has no adverse effects if limited to a cup or two of coffee or tea per day.
 
Whilst I do love my green tea, it's not something that can I can have at night as my sleep get interrupted. Also, it can leave ugly stains on your teeth even if it does prevent decay.

Of course, you could always look at preparing it lighter strength to minimise any such effects.

And as previously stated, other tea varieties are also a good option.

I find hot teas are great after meals, especially anything oily.
 
Has anyone tried Yogi Green Tea? I think its a great product to support an active lifestyle and maintain well-being. Lots of antioxidants! And of course my favorite thing about Yogi Tea is that it comes with a motivational/life quote on every tea bag. The little things in life :)
 
Can we please stop parroting that green tea will help with x or y. FFS, from what you guys are saying, green tea will help with everything. Good bye to all health conditions and illnesses. *rolls eyes*
 
Try drinking decaf green tea if you do not like the caffeine. Their are several flavours. You can still get the benefits of green tea without the caffeine downside. Sorry no buzz either!

In all honesty, I'm sure Green tea is good, but I find it hard to believe that it'll be the difference.
 
I must mentioned that Caffeine provide bad signs towards human body therefore instead of consume caffeine green tea is far better for losing weight naturally.
 
Green tea has many health benefits and it can cure a lot of diseases. It lowers the cholesterol level and can also reduce body fats. Green tea has another benefit that it is good for skin and reduces the aging effects.
 
Green Tea has many health benefits. It far surpasses coffee in the fat loss or calories burned department. The problem for me lies in taking time to brew up each cup to make it effective. We need to brew in bulk guys, similar to brewing big pots of coffee I brew big jugs of green tea. Mix the recommended water amount with the tea in a large jug. Let it sit in your fridge for 24 hours and now you have a ton of tea that will give you a major edge in your health. :)

you are right ...................mix of green tea with caffeine works miracle for weight loss. Caffeine in green tea is special, in that it does not appear to raise the heart rate or blood pressure but other kinds of caffeine do this. The caffeine in green tea, while not appearing to considerably raise the heart rate or blood pressure, does appear to raise the metabolic rate which helps a lot in reducing the weight loss..............
