Greatest Philosophers of the World

I think therefore I am.

Also, since I have an idea about a perfect beeing (God) and I am imperfect, I can't have placed that idea inside me. (An imperfect beeing can't create a perfect idea) thus the perfect beeing (God) must have placed it there. Since God exists and he created me, he also created me with a sense of logic, and since God is perfect he must be good, since evil is imperfect. Therefore you can conclude that my logic is correct, because God would not want to misslead me.

Cogito, ergo sum, Karky ;)

I agree 100% with your logic. It's hard being omnipotent, isn't it? :D

It is! :D But it's even harder to be impotent, but I'm hard, so I'm potent..

The only obvious flaw with Decartes logic, IMO, is that humans aren't capable of having the idea of a perfect creature. A perfect creature would be able to do anything, but we aren't able to comprehend that, just look at this classic example:
If god is allmighty then he should be able to create a rock that is so heavy not even he can lift it. But if there exists a rock he can't lift, then he is not allmighty.

My god, I never should have taken that philosophy course..

I like Nietzsche and Kant. Descartes blows. Because the real expression should be "I have, therefore I am" :D

wow...way too serious in here...the point of the image was the joke at the end...why are we actually philosophizing? :p

Lol, I'm just joking around :p
