Weight-Loss Granola?

Weight-Loss

So, today I bought some organic honey, sultana and almond granola. I should have paid more attention to the nutrition data (I usually do, but I was in a rush!).. It has about 250 calories per 50g serving (that's including semi skimmed milk) with 16g sugar and 8.3g of fat! That doesn't seem weight-loss friendly, but I was wondering if it would actually be alright to eat something like that? I'm trying to lose the last bits of fat that I'm uncomfortable with (I'm not overweight), through plenty of exercise and tracking my calories but I'm slightly worried that the granola seems fairly high in sugar and fat, so would be a step in the wrong direction...
Obviously, it would just be easier to just not eat the granola at all.. but I've bought it now and can't afford to waste food! So, to eat or not to eat?!

Hope this isn't too much of a stupid question!

you can make your own but it's not the fat or surgar you should care about, just worry about the calories. If it is too much for your daily intake, drop it.

And isn't all honey made by bees thus making all honey organic not to mention there is no way to control where bees get the pollen to make the honey?

save your money :)

I think Purple meant that the granola (honey, sultana and almond flavor) is organic.

Either way, go ahead and eat it, just account for the calories. If the fat and sugar bother you, just make sure on the days when you eat the granola the rest of your food is lower in fat and sugar. But in the end it's really the calories that count for weight loss, the rest counts for how healthy your food is for you. I don't think that granola is terribly unhealthy. Just take it in moderation like all food.
