So i'm 215 lbs and hence are aiming to get 215g of protein per day (a little bit more on weights days, say 240)
So this works out to 35g of protein per meal. I have read in side notes of other posts that 20-25g of protein is subjectivally the max amount of protein the body can efficiently use per meal, and that eating anymore runs the risk of that additional protein turning to fat.
So, is the answer 7 meals per day? eight?
I'm 6'f 215lbs and cutting with a caloric deficit of about 600 cals. I do weights, LSR cardio, and HIIT (mon, tues, wed) and repeat for the rest of the week. My goal is fat loss.
Also, I arrange my macronutrients so that I am eating most of my fats (30-40g) in the 2 meals before bed (the ppwo meal and before bed meal) with the goal of slowing digestion down before bed. Anyone have any experience/opinions on this
I keep my carbs to breakfast and pre and post workout meals (sweet potato pre workout and dextrose post workout) but I have PB before bed which has some carbs...
Thanks
