Gram?

Hello,

In the Netherlands we use Kilograms and Centimeters.
I know a lot of you guys use Pounds and Inches.

But what about a Gram? What do you guys use for that?

David

Grams and other forms of measurement are miligrams (smaller then a gram),Litres, millitres, quarts, pints, cups, fulid onces, table spoons, teaspoons, gallons,Cubic volume, and so on. I think that covers most of the major volume measurements in the US.

A gram is a unit of mass. What is "cubic volume"?

Probably an ounce is closest to your gram. Although the difference is pretty large, I think an ounce is like 25 or 30 grams.

an ounce is 100 gram.

Check:

Is this good enough for american people?
I use Gram per Pound. See Expert Mode.

David.

Actually, an ounce is 28 grams. 25g per ounce is good for a rough figure. In physics class, we called quarter pound hamburgers "newton burgers". Can you guess why?

because of newtons 3rd theory-- when nutritional nose dive is in motion, from eating the burger, it tends to stay nose dive.. heheehhhee

Well, thats the same. An ounce is 100 gram. A pound is nothing in the netherlands. Well, we do use it, but it isn't official. A pound is 500gram here.

weird. it is indeed 28grams to 1 ounce in the United States. perhaps your ounces are troy ounces or something weird? because 100g is almost a quarter pound over here.
