Alright, get this. Our K-12 school consists of about 250 students total. Our high school has about 40 in it. We are as no-name as you can get really. We have an 8-man tackle football team and this is our first season as a school. We start off with one coach, who knows absolutely nothing about the sport, or any athletics at all. On top of that, none of us had played Pop Warner or anything, so no knowledge or nothing. Pretty bad situation as y'all can see.
A few days into the practices, we hear that Philip Rivers' family has become enrolled in our school and Phil shows up for our practice! So we got the Chargers' quarterback coaching our itty bitty high school team every once a week or two.
A few more days pass and our coach tells us that another person is coming in to help coach. Apparently, he played college ball and just about made it pro, but issues came up and he didn't quite make it. Nevertheless, we was one of the best runningbacks in college ball at the time. Jermaine Rucker is his name and he's on our coaching staff full-time. Very, very knowledgeable man.
A week or so passes and our coach tells us that he found another guy to come in to help coach, a pro arena football quarterback. Now this guy has had a ton of experience too and is a huge asset to our offense. So now we have a pro NFL quarterback, a pro arena football quarterback, and an all-american college football player as our coaches. Ah, it gets better.
So the arena football coach, Gabe, knows a guy that he wants to bring in. A man named Clark Bartram, a professional bodybuilder, an author on bodybuilding.com, who has spent a lot of his life with the best known athletes and all, has come to coach our team as well. Look him up on google, I didn't know for a while that he was that well known, he actually almost got the part for batman in Batman Begins. Pretty awesome guy.
Our team is kickin' some major ass right now, 4-1
