Got back health screening results? I can't believe it!!!

I'm 27 years and I live a very active lifestyle.
Twice a week I got to the gym and train boxing. This training consist of endurance circuit training for about 30 mins followed by about 60 mins of cardio. Once a week i go for at least a 5km run, I usually try to push myself to the maximum, sometimes i even feel like puking. I've been very very active since I was 14, I always find a reason to sweat. I take walks, I drink lost of fresh fruit juices daily and lots of cereal and grain bread in my diet. This lifestyle has been with with me for at least 5 years. I have a visible 6 pack and in good shape. Of course, I do binge to reward myself with brownies or some fried or oily food, but i train extra hard the the next time to burn it all off.. Now here's the kicker

I went for a health screening 2 weeks ago and just got the results!!
Supposedly, I've got high cholestrol!! High HDL levels..
And my uric acid is off the charts which may lead me to have gout! I cannot ****ing believe it...

What can i do to resolve this issue?
AND HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN?

Same boat

I am in the same boat. it's probably genetic. Look forward to your lifetime of Lipitor.

Your diet sounds very carb rich, for a start why do you drink so much juice? It's just sugar with the fruit (good stuff) taken out. A bit of fruit juice is OK but once you have a diet full of fructose, bread and cereal then it lacks balance

Running a 5k a week and doing 90 minute of whatever cardio you do doesn't mean you are going to drop your cholesterol levels. Also, did you fast before your blood work? My cholesterol numbers can be high if I am donating blood as opposed to when I am getting a blood test that I've fasted for.

Of course your binge eating is probably not helping issues either.

High HDL is good. Do not worry if that is the only blood cholesterol that is high. (Exercise does raise HDL.)

High LDL or VLDL is what you should worry about. Some people are genetically unlucky and have high LDL and/or VLDL despite keeping the body fat off and avoiding stuff like trans-fats from hydrogenated oils, sugars, and alcohol. (It seems like you have a diet that is high in sugars; you may want to cut back on that; also some oily fried food and baked goods is made with hydrogenated oils.)
