Sport Got a question about juice!

Sport Fitness
Hello guys and gals.
I've recently gotten inspired to get up off my ass and start working out.
I am only 17, but my inactive life the past years sure has set its marks, so I've decided to step up now.

I was in a program at the local hospital (Nutrition and exercise projects run by med. students) but had to drop out due to exams.
After that I've been staling abit. (Lost around 10KG's on the project - I think 10kgs is around 20lbs.)

So,
My first step is to absolutely cut all junk-food and soda out.
But then I read and heard some stuff about juice containing 10-12% more sugar than what i.e. coke does. Which got me abit confused.

But then I found this juice type at the local store which is the following:

They say its 40% water 60% juice. No sugar added.
Energy: 129,4kJ
Proteins: 0,3g
Carbs: 7,3g
- Sugar-related *stuff* 6,6g
Fat 0,1g.
Fiber 1.0g

0,5liters per bottle.

Is this something that is safe to drink whilst keeping a strict diet?

Thanks in advance,
and apologies for my somewhat weird english at times. (I'm Norwegian :) )

- Leon.

lol thought this was gonna be about steroids.

Juice is good for using with andro as andro takes like what i imagine arse would taste like. Nothing els blocks out the taste better then orange juice.

If you are trying to lose body fat, better to eat whole fruit compared to drinking juice. Whole fruit contains fewer calories and more fiber, and takes more time to eat and makes you feel full more than juice does.

Juice is better than soda, but it is still a quick calorie / sugar hit that is not likely to be good in most situations if you are trying to cut body fat.

Same lol.

Yea most 'pure' juices contain more sugar than soda believe it or not. But the positive point about them is the vitamin C etc they contain.

My drink consists of milk & water ;)

Hehe, didnt think of it like that : )

Thought some about it, and I'll keep to skim milk and water. Seeing how the water clearly is the best way to go in any way.

Thanks anyways guys, appriciate it.

eliminate most juices if you can. Stick with water. Especially because most fruit juices have HFCS in them and it isn't good for you.

eliminate all liquid calories besides a protein shake perhaps, drink water!!!
