Good routine?

Last night I tried a new running routine. I walk for three minutes then run for one. Then walk for two and run for two, and walk for one then run for three. Then I start over again. I get in about two times in thirty minutes for almost 2.5 miles. Is good no like in old country?
 
Your routine

This work out is a fine routine. It raises your heart rate and does a fine job far cardio. As you continue this work out you can try running faster or switching from between running and jogging and slowly try to eliminate the walking part. I use to do this type of work out in when I ran Cross Country in high school.
 
I should try this out, what I've been doing is walking for 5 then jogging/running for 8 then walking for 5 then jogging for 5 :-/
 
Sounds good.

I do HIIT after my weight training.

I do

5 min warmup
5 intervals of 30 sec sprint with 30 sec walk in between
5 min cooldown

Works great along with the weights.
 
Hey, I do something similar bit to really get myself workign hard I run for 30 minute after 10 minute warm up on rotex, and then after the first 30 min run for 5 walk 3 run 5 walk 3 and then do 5 minutes of crazy 1 minute run as fast as i can to walk 1 minute then do it again.
