Good news Bad news

Since I'm 35 and everything on my body is moving a little further south each year (I'll probably be living in Mexico in 2008), none of my old jeans fit, even though I've gain no weight.

So, I bought all new jeans and slacks at the beginning of the winter (like 7 pair).

Then I started hitting the gym like a mad woman.

This morning as I was getting dressed and pulling my belt to the fourth hole, I realised I am SWIMMING in my not very old pants. These things weren't relaxed fit when I bought them! :p

So I guess the good news is I am definately losing inches and I get to buy a new wardrobe (won't hubby be thrilled? ;) ), the bad news is I spent a few hundred bucks on clothes I haven't even worn for three months.

That is bad news that is good! CONGRATS!!!!!

see if you can find a local consignment store to take them too.. you won't get tons of money, but it will at least help off set the cost of buying the new ones! plus, you won't have them around the house as a backup in case you fall off the wagon... it's extra incentive to keep going!!!

that is why im still walking around in my sweatpants i have been wearing for the last 4 yrs! i bought a few new things last summer because i had to since i lost weight, but its winter now and sweatpants kinda fit no matter how big/small u are. so im not buying anything else until i reach my goal of 125.

That is great that your not so old pants are getting loose. Just be glad you aren't in maternity jeans! I have 2 pairs of pants that are my size now that were bought for me and then my maternity jeans. I have a whole closet of clothes I CAN'T fit into. Feel very very lucky :).
