Sport going to the potty often..

so it seems that, generally, the more i eat, the more i need to go potty and release it via solids. generally i've had to do this every 1-2 days. it is awfully difficult for me to gain weight if it is coming out the other just as fast.

what is wrong!! i'm underweight for the longest time and even though i try to stuff myself i can't seem to bring my weight up, which is quite annoying.

That is generally how it works. Don't be worried.

Wait, are you saying you're only going to the washroom every 1 - 2 days?

Post your daily diet with caloric count. Your physical stats and exercise information would help too.
 
What I ate yesterday:

1x banana (150 calories)
1x protein shake (130 calories)

1x bagel with ham and cheese (170+150+140 = 460 calories)

1x cup of pistachios (300 calories)

1x chipotle steak burrito (950 calories)
1x medium coke soft drink (200 calories)

4x slices of whole wheat bread with peanut butter (320 + 400 = 720 calories)


TOTAL calories: 2910 calories


Stats: 140lbs, 5'11".

Exercise info: Just started last Saturday.
 
Yeah, I just want to second the fact that the more you eat the more you will have to use the washroom. Don't worry, you will still gain. I used to do number 2 once a week in high school when I was skinny and starving all the time. Once I moved out and started eating a hell of a lot more I suddenly started going multiple times in a week and now I go every day.

Also note that if you eat foods higher in fiber (e.g. vegetables, beans, whole grains), you'll have to go more. Every one or two days is really not that often.
 
Some people dont have very healthy digestive systems by the sounds of it. I download twice a day once in the morning and once mid afternoon. Like clockwork

I'm pretty much like clockwork, too, but I download three times a day. If I've eaten a lot, I'll download four times a day.
