Going to join a gym again

I joined a gym downtown end of May last year. Really enjoyed going for about 5 months. Went 3x a week and until Autumn break was very motivated. Then I got a touch of the flu around that break time and stopped going for a bit. Then it got cold and rainy and I just couldn't get motivated anymore. I just wanted to sit in my warm house, after the school run cycle. The gym was another 10 minutes on my bike away, so I completely stopped going. So a couple of weeks ago, I finally decided to quite my membership.:eek:


But this morning I went to one that is closer to my house, I almost pass it, extra 2 minutes to the right, instead of going home to the left. I had a tour with a friend of mine. And it seems very nice and friendly. Next week I will be going for a first meet there. And will just see how it goes.

Good for you. I think building a stronger reason for going to the gym is important in your case. If something like the weather threw you off the first go around, obviously your connection with strong reasons to do this weren't there. Let us know if there's anything we can do. Best to you!
