Going on vacation

Hey guys and girls,
Long time no post (from me). :yelrotflmao:

Since the last time I checked in, I have been continuing to go to the gym faithfully. I think I only missed 1 day (due to me being sick) out of my work-out schedule.

I've tried to do a search using the word "vacation" but didn't see anything (maybe I did something wrong :yelrotflmao:).

Anyways, I will be going on vacation for 2 weeks. This means, yup my gym schedule will be on hold. :bncry:
Right now, I got my body to where I want it to be (fairly toned in all the right places).
Can anyone throw any suggestions (other than using the hotel's gym equipment, which I am considering in the mornings) at me on how I can keep my metabolism/strength the same so that when I get back from my vacation, I can get right back at it all?

Or am I just being paranoid over all this? :p

take a break and enjoy your vacation.

Enjoy your vacation.

And if you are walking all over the place sightseeing, you'll get a non-trivial amount of exercise doing that. Also, some vacation activities like hiking, swimming, etc. are exercise.

Just saw this...

I travel about 100 days out of the year. Many hotels have an arrangement with a local gym and offer day passes. If not, most gyms have a day pass, usually 10 - $15 USD. If you are ethically-challenged and don't mind listening to a an hour long song and dance, you can take a tour of the gym as a prospective member for no charge.

you could also run if you want. it won't really help you build any muscle but it will keep you toned and work off those vacation treats :). plus i'm sure it will make you feel much better about being away from the typical workouts

You're taking your bodyweight with you right?

lol that is just what I was thinking...I went on vacation recently and every few days on the vacation I would spend about 20-30 minutes doing 400-500 pushups, 400-500 situps, and 400-500 jumping jacks...plus running in place...I indulged in just about anything I wanted the whole time and came back only about a pound heavier...well worth it to me...and that was with minimal walking...

that's impressive :eek2: lol ...wouldn't recommend doing that though, OP, unless you now you have a very fast metabolism....If I really anything I wanted I know I would gain much more than that, even with exercise
