Sport Going from cutting to bulking for the 1st time...

Sport Fitness
Evening all,

I've been training now for a few months and I've had excellent results so far. I've got a few more pounds to lose yet but I just wanted to know... how should you swap from cutting to bulking? I can appreciate you need to eat more calories but... how?

I already eat as much as I need to, so presumably I need to start eat slighly less healthy food? i.e. white bread and white pasta instead of brown bread and brown pasta?

Or can you literally eat what you want, while still avoiding high-saturated fat food?

How long should these "cycles" last? Weeks? Months?

You should eat the exact same foods when bulking as you do when cutting, only in excess. A dirty bulk will produce dirty results.

If you want to go from cutting to bulking, I would gradually increase your calories. Going from a deficit to a surplus immediately will be tough. Make it a gradual increase.

If bulking, as long as your getting the necessary calories, your foods don't HAVE to be the cleanest, but you'll feel better if you do.

Yeah, keep on eating healthy, as you will have to cut back down again after a dirty bulk, make sure that you are eating a lot and increase your reps in workout.
