Sport Going Abroad...what to do?

Im going to italy for 5 weeks (leaving on june 30th)

How should i go about eating there? I am sure their portions are much healthier anyways, but, im really nervous about the water (i HATE mineral water, and they like, dehydrate themselves over there), and just getting so excited about all the good italian food, that i go crazy.

I really have no clue what the food set up is going to be, but just any general pointers/tips of what to avoid/indulge in? Especially if you have been there :) ? I am going to Rome if that helps...

Never been, but my family is from Italy. So we eat TONS of pasta! It's a trip. My adivce would be to stick with a fitness program as best as you can (walking, running, body weight exercises, or a gym if you can) and enjoy yourself!

Don't gorge out, but by golly enjoy the trip and the culture there.
